My time at the Bottle House and Bal Sarathi of children orphanage was the most magical and memorable experience of my life

You are worried about seeing them spend their early years in doing nothing. What! Is it nothing to be happy? Nothing to skip, play, and run around all day long? Never in there  life will they be so busy again.

Children need love, especially when they do not deserve it. Children are unpredictable. You never know what inconsistency they're going to catch you in next.In the heart of every child is a hunger for home. Not just for food and a place to sleep, but for safety and community. Most importantly for love.Our team Adventure Outdoor Treks and Expedition has flown in more than many aid, including tents, foods, plastic sheeting, blankets, school bags,  set up child friendly spaces in informal camps that is in  our own Bottle House and Bal Sarathi Academy  , to offer support to help children recover from their experiences and a safe place where they can play .

The kids were so excited to have something of their own. On our arrival at the orphanage the children and their teacher welcomed us. It was a nice experience. We were pleasantly surprised to encounter such happy and lively kids who we could get along with easily.These children. They are living in conditions that are literally worse than anything,  they are so sweet and kind. They look out for one another. The older kids take care of the younger ones. They laugh and smile. A flicker of hope still shines.The gratitude they felt for small things that we would normally take for granted. A soft mattress to sleep on at night, a cold drink, a small toy. Small, simple things.

 Sometimes a small things you do can mean everything in another person's life 

Perhaps there are those who are able to go about their lives unfettered by such concerns. But for those like us, our fate is to face the world as orphans, chasing through long years the shadows of vanished parents. There is nothing for it but to try and see through our missions to the end, as best we can, for until we do so, we will be permitted no calm.Though it was always a good  atmosphere between the kids and the staff and we enjoyed every second with these lovelies. We laughed a lot and had a really great and unforgettable time together. All kids are so happy and healthy and that is the most important point.

It was a wonderful experience for which we are very very thankful. We really can recommend helping at this place. We also think about to repeat it. Thanks to the staff and the kids for this unforgettable time.

Helping those children not only with my presence but with all their daily needs makes it a life changing experience.

Their eyes each told a story. A story of loss and despair. Each set of eyes reflected a haunted little soul beneath. I will never, ever forget these children. They are etched in my heart always. The way they eagerly reached out to touch our arms and legs, craving affection. 

Till this day I think about the loving and open hearted Bottle house and Bal Sarathi children. Their souls are so pure and full of love.
